Pokemans: The 2010 Pokemon Video Game Championships Detailed

While I don't actually play Pokemon myself (well, anymore at least) I'm fully aware that many of you guys still do. And I know for a fact that a lot of you take it really seriously. For those of you who do, you're going to have to travel to Hawaii if you want to show the world what you've got. This year's competition will include the current generation games, HeartGold and SoulSilver in the competition.

So here's how it's going to work if you're interested. In the qualifying tournaments, players from two different age divisions (born in 1998 or later, or 1997 and earlier) will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis from all of the attendees. The top 4 players from each age division from each qualifier will be invited to go to the finals in Kona Hawaii from August 13th-15th. There, the best the world has to offer in terms of Pokemon-Mastery will battle it out for the coveted Golden Pokeball... Actually, I have no idea what the prizes are, but for more information, you can visit the official site.
